Well its been 26 years and I still don’t have this “LIFE” thing all figured out. Just when I think I have the answer life goes and changes the question. But what I do know is that no matter what happens or how bad today seems it will get better tomorrow, guaranteed. Many of you know me because of my nickname “Little Miss Optimistic” from my writings of Daily Optimism each day or you might have seen my pictures in a magazine or website…either way, whatever brought you here I hope that you leave with a little more than what you came in with. So what is it that “I do?” I own and operate two of my own websites; one for modeling and one for my poetry as well as working full time in the music industry here in Manhattan and modeling part time (yes I am a certified workaholic, I am working on that) Ive been in this music/radio industry for 6+ years (MTV, VH1, and radio stations) and music is my passion. I have been modeling since early 2004 - gracing the covers of newstand magazines, campaigns for various clothing brands and layouts of many popular online magazines as well. And my poetry site has now reached over a million views with a couple hundred members, so I feel like at least my words are making a difference, which is one of my happiest moments to date. So…As you can see I am more than meets the eye, never judge a book by it’s cover, you’d be surprise what a great story lives inside if you took the time to read it. Im strong in my beliefs and proud of how I was raised; Friends, Family, Faith…those three keep me in check. I realize everyday that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. We’ve all be dealt some pretty bad hands in our day, but luckily for me I’m not ready to lay mycards down and walk away from the table empty handed. I’m a fighter; fighter for what I believe in and a fighter of those in whom I believe in. I am a deep soul, I wear my heart on my sleeve, but on me I think it fits quite nicely there.
I would like to say thank you to all my friends here for always being so loving and supportive of all my ventures. Whether its modeling, contests, my poetry, etc. It means a lot to me, trust me. I know without your help a lot of what I have achieved to date would not be possible so I never overlook that. Thank you to my family for bringing me up the way they did, for making me work for everything I have and being proud of me. (Especially my mother, I love her more than life itself!) and to my best friends - the people I turn to for everything and will be the handful of people I know will be with me forever - you make me so happy!
